National Rollerski Event April 23 – New Hill Climb Venue

The National Rollerski Event is still on this Saturday April 23 in Canberra, however the location of the hill climb time trial has been changed. It will now be held on the bike path over past the back side of Black Mountain, starting down near the old Caswell Drive and finishing at the back of the suburb of Cook. The course is about 2.2km long and will be run in classic technique using an interval start format. Registration will be half-way along Bindubi St, see map below.

The CIT Criterium will still be held in freestyle technique  in the car park of the Canberra Institute of Technology in Bruce.

Participants can enter on the day.  The races are  part of National Junior Team and NSW Junior Team training camps and some senior team members will also be competing. As a trial event for reintroducing Australian Championship events entry is free for state and national team members, and only 5$ for all others.
