Well, whilst in Sweden, you never know…

So the week has provided some amusement for me in terms of Monty’s constant outburts of how much he hates the snow conditions in Östersund whilst the whole of Europe suffers a slightly less than ideal December.

Christmas Day for us involved speed training in the morning on classic skis. Where we alternated between striding with and without poles, double poling (unbelievably also with and without poles) and steep uphill striding. After all our speeds were done and our klister seriously lacking the boys swapped over to skates, and Monty and I popped off the race trails for an adventure. Whilst the snow at times was a little sketchy we managed to do an hour of skiing somewhere different.
