Phil Bellingham finished in 87th place on the second day of the 2015 Tour de Ski. The race was a 15km classic pursuit start based on the finishing times from stage one. This meant Phil started 55 seconds behind the winner of stage one Dario Cologna from Switzerland. At the conclusion of the race both Dario and Phil had dropped further back in the field with Phil now sitting in 87th place 6:50 behind new Tour leader Petter Northug Jr. from Norway.

Phil’s aim was to make it through to stage three which is a skate sprint in Val Mustair in Switzerland. This was achieved as Phil’s results from day one and two were both within the time cut off.
