Skike Australia Victorian Ski Chase – Update 20-07-2015

By now many of you will have been out enjoying the great snow that has finally arrived. Unfortunately it came a bit too late for the first three Ski Chase events.  There are seven more events though, so all is not lost.

Bullfight Charge:

The next event is the Bullfight Charge, which will be held at Lake Mountain next Sunday (26 July) provided the snow hangs in there for another week.  It’s pretty good at the moment, so fingers crossed.  If you are driving through Healesville on your way home from the event, why not drop in to Rochford wines ( and support one of our sponsors.

Cash Prizes:

Great news with the cash prizes for Under 23’s. A group of Skikers raised $600 and donated it to the cause.  This “Skikeforce” prize will provide $300 for the first U23 male and female point scorers.

Another very generous prize of $400 was raised by Melbourne Nordic Ski Club.  This will provide $200 for one male and one female, which will be randomly drawn among the 2nd and 11th placed U23 point scorers. There will be one other randomly drawn $200 cash prize raised by anonymous donors.

Many thanks to Skikeforce, Melbourne Nordic Ski club and our anonymous donors.

Thanks again to Skike Australia ( and Rochford wines ( for their generous support.
